The UK Student Movement Research Project was set up in January 2017 to connect those interested or active in research on the student movement (past and present). The people involved come from a variety of academic and activist backgrounds, and research in a variety of different disciplines.

Building a platform for communication and collaboration in research on the student movement is long overdue. While student movement research is less saturated compared to many other areas of historical, political and sociological research – a great deal of work has already been done and there is much potential for further research.

This wordpress features a blog which we welcome submissions to, a bibliography of some existing research, useful links to help you initiate research and guidance on carrying it out.

This research project works from this wordpress and from a Facebook group.
